WWE Extreme Rules 2019 preview: Bobby Lashley vs. Braun Strowman

In the battle of the big strong men, The Monster Among Men and The Almighty will once again battle it out to see who is the strongest WWE Superstar.

Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley have been feuding for whatever reason — maybe simply to find out who is the strongest — for the past couple of months. These two men will go at each other once again at WWE Extreme Rules, this Sunday on the WWE Network in a last man standing match.

The last time these two were in a match — also a last man standing match, for that matter — was on Monday Night Raw on July 1. It was a very physical fight, as you would expect it to be between these two behemoths. But things turned serious when both men were on the stage, Lashley near the LED board. Strowman ran full force at Lashley and both went crashing into the LED board, setting off a series of explosions. Both were carried off in stretcher. It was certainly more entertaining than previous weeks in the Lashley-Strowman rivalry, which featured arm wrestling bouts and a tug of war contest.

The storyline was that Strowman suffered serious injuries, but he seems to have recovered quickly enough just in time before Extreme Rules, and he wants another crack at Lashley.

We both know what these two men bring to the ring. It will be a very physical fight, one that could steal the show Sunday night. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out when these two etch another chapter into their rivalry.

Will Lashley send Strowman “to the morgue” like he stated he will? Extreme Rules takes place on Sunday, July 14 on the WWE Network.
