AEW Fight for the Fallen preview: Hangman Adam Page vs. Kip Sabian

The man will be who facing off against Chris Jericho in Chicago, Hangman Page, looks to put another tick in the win column as he takes on UK blue chipper Kip Sabian.

Kip Sabian may be a new name to a majority of the All Elite Wrestling fanbase but he won’t be for long, as he was the first man to pick up a win in the first match in AEW history. Sabian put on a solid match against Sammy Guevara at Double or Nothing and was able to secure the victory, which carried him into a future matchup with the winner of the Fyter Fest fatal four-way match, Hangman Page.

Sabian made his name in UK promotions such as IPW, SWE, and World of Sport as a fast-paced high flyer with a pension for impactful maneuvers.

Sabian is still trying to make an impression on the AEW faithful and a great showing against Hangman Page would do nothing but wonders for his image.

Page, meanwhile, has everything to lose going into this matchup as his undefeated record in the company is on the line as well as his momentum heading into All Out on August 31. If Sabian were to pick up a win over Page, he would be thrust to the front of the line in the AEW Championship contenders list and could be the first challenger for the belt after All Out.

But with Chris Jericho lurking in the shadows and licking his wounds from Double or Nothing, The Painmaker might make an appearance to attack Page ahead of their match in August.

The two differing styles of the competitors should create a unique and hotly-fought contest, and the nature of the matchup could set the clash up to be a match of the night contender.
