Fantasy Football Rankings: QB Strength of schedule
Dak Prescott (20)Ā āĀ Many people donāt know that Prescott has been a top-12 fantasy QB for every year since joining the league in 2016. Acquiring Amari Cooper last year did wonders for Dak as he had 3 top-3 weekly fantasy finishes once they traded for him.
The first 3 weeks should be a cakewalk facing off against the Giants, Redskins, and the Dolphins. A huge turn off is Prescottās fantasy playoff schedule, facing the Bears, Rams, and the Eagles. He should be fantasy relevant during the fantasy regular season but you would want a different QB to come playoff time.
This could be his best season yet with a full season with Amari Cooper, expecting the 2nd-year leap from Michael Gallup, getting new slot WR Randall Cobb, and oh yeah, dump passes and screens to Ezekiel Elliott.
Dwayne Haskins (21)Ā ā As of right now, we have no idea who the starter is due to the fact that it could easily be Case Keenum or Colt Mccoy, but Iām just going to list the rookie as the starter for now.
When it comes to fantasy, it really doesnāt even matter because, at the end of the day, none will be fantasy relevant. When you start the season off against the Eagles, Cowboys, and Bears, Iām sorry but youāre not scoring fantasy points.
It gets a little easier throughout the season but none of these QBās are worth owning. A big reason for that is how underwhelming the receiving core is with Josh Doctson, Brian Quick, Terry Mclaurin, Paul Richardson, and Kelvin Harmon. Yeah, Iām going to pass.
Derek Carr (22)Ā ā Since Iām new here, I wanted to use this space to explain how much Iām not a fan of Derek Carr for fantasy purposes. I just want you guys to know that Carr had 6 different weeks last year where he finished outside the top-25Ā QBās.
Putting that into perspective, Eli Manning only had 4 of those weeks, Case Keenum only has 2 and so on and so forth. I know they signed AB and people want to jump back on the hype train but just consider the fact that they play a series of hard defenses this year like the Broncos twice, Chargers twice, Vikings, Bears, Texans, and the Jaguars. Iām not even touching this guy in a Superflex league.
