NJPW G1 Climax 29 Night 3: How to watch, match card and more

The second of back-to-back nights in Tokyo has the A-Block scheduled for their first set of tournament matches in Japan. Here’s all you need to know about G1 Climax 29 Night 3 including how to watch.

After holding their first of nine G1 Climax block matches in the U.S., the A-Block have returned to Japan where they will finish the remainder of their tournament. The show is scheduled to take place on Sunday, July 14 live from the Ota City General Gymnasium in Ota, Tokyo.

All 10 A-Block participants will have a tournament match, including three never-before-seen singles matches (Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. KENTA, Will Ospreay vs. SANADA, Kota Ibushi vs. EVIL). Under them will be four tag team matches set as previews for the B-Block contests held on the following night.

Kazuchika Okada and Zack Sabre Jr. split wins in 2018 with Okada defending his IWGP Heavyweight Championship in April at Sakura Genesis and Sabre getting his win back in July at Strong Style Evolved UK. The main event bout between Hiroshi Tanahashi and KENTA is a first-time-ever clash that sees the former ace of Pro Wrestling NOAH pitted against the Ace of New Japan Pro Wrestling.
