2019 Big Ten Media Days: Schedule, players attending, how to watch

The college football season is creeping closer and one sign that it’s almost here is the annual media frenzy beforehand, which will include Big Ten Media Days. Here is how to watch along with the rest of the key info.

When it comes to preseason press conferences, few leagues have had it better than the Big Ten, because, with Urban Meyer and Jim Harbaugh, Big Ten Media Days was always a spectacle.

Yet, there will still be plenty of intrigue leading up to the 2019 version of Big Ten Media Days, as new Ohio State head coach Ryan Day will step to the podium in Chicago as the new frontman for the Buckeyes. Last year, Urban Meyer’s issues handling the Zach Smith situation began his farewell season in Columbus. It’s Day’s show now and he will get his opportunity to speak Thursday, Joining Ohio State on Thursday, July 18 are Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan State, Minnesota and Nebraska.

Iowa, Michigan, Northwestern, Penn State, Purdue, Rutgers and Wisconsin will close Big Ten Media Days on Friday, July 19.
