Early DraftKings MLB picks July 17: Everything turns Gray
We have a full 15 games on Wednesday, but six of them are afternoon games, making up the early DraftKings MLB tournaments. It’s nice to have a fairly even split like this. The early DraftKings MLB tournament has some interesting matchups in it and a very hot Coors Field in the afternoon. That could make things very interesting. First, the weather.

Rain: Minneapolis(very slight)
Wind: None
Hot/Humid: Minneapolis(humid), St. Louis(both), Chicago(hot), Denver(hot)
It looks like we dodge rain in the afternoon, but a heat wave across the midwest is going to make it nearly unbearable in St Louis, and very hot in Chicago and Denver. As if Coors needs more help.
The only lineups that placed for me last night were the Woodruff/Flaherty lines. I wasn’t on either pitcher until very late in the day, and only then because I could fit them with a Coors stack. Last night was mostly a bust with a disappointing night from Gonzales, Cashner, Plesac, and Gargamel’s Cat. Hell, even Peter Lambert outscored all of them pitching in Coors Field.
These tips are based mostly on past performance. This is a nice tool for building a lineup, but should not be the only pieces of information you use. We have plenty of writers on here who give you relevant information no matter which site you play on, and we all attack the slate from different angles.
