Main DraftKings MLB picks July 17: Is Clevinger an ace?
With six games earlier today, that leaves nine games for our main DraftKings MLB tournaments. Most of the action is on this slate. The better pitching is also here. It makes it a lot easier to fit in pitchers when you aren’t worried about Coors Field bats. First, we have to check the weather with Barry still hanging around.
Everyone here at FanSided Fantasy is getting you ready for football season, so I hope you stick around for that! We have everything you need to get you ready for the upcoming NFL season!

Rain: Philadelphia(moderate in late innings), Baltimore(high in middle/late innings), New York(moderate), Boston(severe)
Wind: 14 mph out to right in Kansas City, 14 mph in from right in Arlington, 12 mph out to right in Philadelphia.
Hot/Humid: Philadelphia(both), Baltimore(both), New York(both), Boston(humid), Cleveland(humid), Arlington(really hot), Kansas City(brutally hot and humid), Los Angeles(humid)
I really doubt that Boston finds a window to play. Philly, Baltimore, and New York don’t have a lot of a window right now, but we will know more this afternoon. Baltimore is in trouble of a truncated game if they play at all. Philly and New York will play for a while, but rain could eat the rest of the game.
Great hitting weather in Arlington and Kansas City, but it’s going to be miserable in KC. Fatigue could be a big factor with the heat index well over 100 degrees at start time.
The only lineups that placed for me last night were the Woodruff/Flaherty lines. I wasn’t on either pitcher until very late in the day, and only then because I could fit them with a Coors stack. Last night was mostly a bust with a disappointing night from Gonzales, Cashner, Plesac, and Gargamel’s Cat. Hell, even Peter Lambert outscored all of them pitching in Coors Field.
These tips are based mostly on past performance. This is a nice tool for building a lineup, but should not be the only pieces of information you use. We have plenty of writers on here who give you relevant information no matter which site you play on, and we all attack the slate from different angles.
