Not only will Cole defend his NXT title tonight, but we will also get a clash of brands again as Kushida will go one-on-one with a returning Apollo Crews. Is this a one-time deal for the talented young Crews? Or is this a permanent return home to the black and gold brand, much like the recently-returned Tyler Breeze? Only time will tell, but regardless this should be a fantastic matchup.

Also on tonight’s show, the first round of the NXT Breakout Tournament concludes as Bronson Reed goes one-on-one with Dexter Lumis. This might feature the least-known competitors of the tournament thus far, but if the previous three matches have been any indication we are surely in for a treat tonight as these two men face off for the final spot in the semi-finals.
This is the current lineup of what we can expect to see this Wednesday night on WWE NXT:
– Adam Cole defends his NXT Championship on NXT TV for the first time
– Kushida goes one-on-one with a returning Apollo Crews
– Bronson Reed versus Dexter Lumis in the final first-round match of the NXT Breakout Tournament
– Matt Riddle in action against Arturo Ruas
It should be a night of great action from the black and gold brand as NXT continues their journey to TakeOver: Toronto. Which match are you most looking forward to? Sound off in the comment section below.
