After a big split slate on Wednesday, we continue to split our lineups for Thursdayās FanDuel MLB plays, July 18th 2019.
Wednesdayās FanDuel MLB Daily Lineups plays worked out nicely, depending on how you stacked your offensive picks. Our focus on the starting pitcher position was Sonny Gray ($8,800) in the Early Only slate, who fanned eight batters earning a quality start in six innings for 40 FanDuel MLB points.
While most of our offensive stacks did OK, it wouldāve been better to stack the Mets in Minnesota. I ultimately plugged Hechavarria (24.9 points) and McNeil (12.7 points) into my lineup due to some of our plays sitting out. That was lucky.
In the Main slate, Robbie Ray ($9,600) gave up for earned in six innings, but also fanned seven hitters and received the six points for an easy win. Rayās pick wasnāt a great value, but winning in cash games was quite easy with our Diamondbacks offensive stack.
Hopefully you plugged Eduardo Escobar, Ketel Marte, and Jarrod Dyson into your lineup as suggested. They had a combined 80+ FanDuel MLB points with just three picks. If you went with a full D-Backs offensive stack, you likely earned even more significant points thanks to their monstrous 19-run night against the Rangers in Arlington, Texas.
As we had highlighted, it was an ideal match-up in great hitting conditions. Now, looking toward Thursday, we may have some similar dominating options in each slate. Like Wednesday, Thursday is split into an Early Only and Main slate.
However, unlike Wednesday, weāre starting the day earlier, with games starting just around lunch time. This is awesome, though, as it allows us to focus on MLB DFS plays, in action, during our lunch break.
Weāll get there, but before we do, keep in mind this is an informative post. Donāt use these example lineups as the only best option you have tonight. Iām highlighting the best plays we see for this slate, and itās up to you to piece together the best final optimal MLB DFS lineup.

Weather Note: Unfortunately, the daily MLB weather report sounds like a broken record. They are very hot and muggy over most of the Eastern part of the country. And, again, we have a chance for rain and thunderstorms in places like Philadelphia, Boston, and New York.
Atlanta could be a tough spot as well. But, all of the concerns are related to the Main slate. So, as we approach ālockā toward 7pm ET, be weather-aware before you commit to some teams in the āhotā spots for storms.
