DraftKings MLB picks July 19: Ryu is best, MMMcKay
We have a giant 14 game slate for our DraftKings MLB tournaments tonight. The Cubs and Padres have a matinee at Wrigley so we miss out on Jon Lester at home (I know @2locksports is so disappointed), but we still have some outstanding options on this slate. There is no Coors, but the Rockies are at Yankee Stadium so it isn’t much different. It’s going to be a wacky one!
Everyone here at FanSided Fantasy is getting you ready for football season, so I hope you stick around for that! We have everything you need to get you ready for the upcoming NFL season!

Rain: New York(very slight in late innings), Cleveland(very slight), Detroit(slight), Atlanta(slight), Minneapolis(slight)
Wind: 12 mph out to left in San Francisco, 12 mph out to left in Minneapolis, 12 mph out to center in Houston, 14 mph out to left in Detroit, 12 mph out to right in Cleveland.
Hot/Humid: Pittsburgh(both), Baltimore(hot), New York(both), Cleveland(both), Cincinnati(both), Detroit(both), Atlanta(both), Houston(both), Phoenix(hell on earth hot).
Most of the country is riding a massive heat wave. Only Atlanta and the west coast games have a heat index under triple digits at first pitch. Many of those don’t drop below 98 for the entire game! The heat index is going to be almost 110 degrees for the matinee in Wrigley! Balls are going to fly today, which means pitching, no matter how talented, is a minefield.
I was completely off of Bauer, so that gave all of my lineups a chance. My Houston stack with MadBum and Kelly was my best lineup, but I placed in my Gibson/Davies/Nationals stack as well. All in all, four of my six lineups cashed. The night slate? Not so much.
These tips are based mostly on past performance. This is a nice tool for building a lineup, but should not be the only pieces of information you use. We have plenty of writers on here who give you relevant information no matter which site you play on, and we all attack the slate from different angles.
