Welcome to my FanDuel MLB DFS breakdown for the 7/19 main slate! This article will help you condense your player pool and build your optimal cash and GPP lineups on FanDuel.

We’re at a point in the MLB season where weather, whether it be advantageous or dangerous, is starting to play a much larger role in the outcome of games. I saw this picture and it really got me thinking about exactly that. Over the last week or two, we’ve seen rain hamper a ton of games, whether they be PPD or lengthy in-game delays.

On the flip side, however, it’s important to also pay attention to the weather in places like Arlington, Atlanta, and other southern cities, as the increase in temperature and humidity can really bolster the bats in lineups. That’s also a good reason to track weather nation-wide, as the Midwest is currently going through a bit of a heat-wave, as temperatures here in Milwaukee are supposed to eclipse 95 degrees. While Milwaukee has a retractable roof that negates the weather impact, cities like Chicago, only 90 minutes south, do not.

While this may seem random, it is an important note to include while constructing your MLB DFS lineups, and I would recommend following some of the DFS weathermen on Twitter for real-time updates on weather impacts.

Tonight, we have jam-packed 14-game main slate on FanDuel headlined by a nice group of aces on the mound (Patrick Corbin, Shane Bieber, Hyun-Jin Ryu, Justin Verlander and Jacob deGrom) as well as potent offenses in smash spots (NYY, LAA, TBR, MIL).

With such a large slate, ownership will hopefully be somewhat diverse, so let’s get to the breakdown!
