Welcome to my FanDuel MLB DFS breakdown for the 7/20 main slate! This article will help you condense your player pool and build your optimal cash and GPP lineups on FanDuel.

Happy Saturday DFSers and boy is it nice to reach the weekend! Friday’s FanDuel MLB brought us, as expected, an action-packed slate with a ton of offense and stud pitchers galore. The biggest surprise was seeing such heavy ownership on Justin Verlander with so many other aces in elite matchups taking the bump.

With that said, however, Verlander did finish with 58 FDP in a picture-perfect outing for the masses.

The biggest surprise, however, was the St. Louis Cardinals. Down 7-0 heading into the 6th inning, many fans wrote the game off as final. The Cardinals, however, did not. They proceeded to knock in 10 runs in the 6th followed by another pair of runs in the 7th, completing one of the craziest comebacks in recent memory.

With all of this being said, we close the book on the wild Friday night and turn our attention towards a 10-game main slate tonight on FanDuel. There are really only two aces that I will consider in cash games (Clayton Kershaw and Luis Castillo), but another heap of offenses to target.

Let’s get to the breakdown!
