When Nebraska made its move to the Big Ten in 2011, there were questions about how the Cornhuskers would integrate into their new conference. One arena where they had no trouble fitting in with their new brethren was in the realm of appearance. Nebraska brings one of the most classic looks in all of college football to the gridiron.

Their traditional look is simple, elegant, and fitting for a college powerhouse. The Cornhuskers rock a simple two-tone uniform in red and white. The simple white helmet with the single red stripe down the middle and the utilitarian N on each side is all you need to know who you are watching on any given Saturday.

Of course, most teams with classic looks have embraced the concept of alternate looks in recent years. The Cornhuskers are no exception, as they have put out some striking all-red looks as well as incorporating black into recent designs. There have also been some fun throwback uniforms in recent years, complete with vintage numerals and lettering.

At the heart of the Nebraska look, though, is a unified appearance that needs no extreme embellishment to bolster the brand. In its simplicity, the Huskers boast one of the most recognizable uniforms in college football.
