For generations, college football fans have indelibly linked a green, orange, and white color scheme with the University of Miami. The two-tone U is all you need to see to instantly know you are watching the Hurricanes on the football field.

Despite switching from longtime uniform supplier Nike to Adidas back in 2015, the Hurricanes retain their signature look every Sunday. The partnership with Adidas has resulted in some sleek combinations in the past few years. They have not veered away from the traditional stripes on the shoulders and on the sides of each leg. Yet a combination of new materials in the uniform construction help modernize the look.

Embracing the school colors, Miami has worn green jerseys with orange pants, orange jerseys with white pants, and an all-green number that fits right in with the shift toward more monochrome styles on the gridiron at both the college and professional level.

Regardless of which combination they choose, the Hurricanes retain the same sartorial swagger that was present during their 1980s heyday under Schnellenberger, Johnson, and Erickson. On any given Saturday, the ACC Coastal powerhouse is likely to be the best-dressed team on the football field whether at Hard Rock Stadium or on the road.
