Fantasy football ADP check: Players being over-drafted

2. Antonio Brown, ADP 2.3

Antonio Brown is certainly one of the most skilled wide receivers in the league, but he makes this list because the shift from the Steelers offense to the Raiders offense will be a significant downgrade. Further, Brown will realize very quickly that things have changed when he is catching passes from Derek Carr instead of Ben Roethlisberger.

Carr is not as good as Roethlisberger, but the shift will be just as much about chemistry. Brown played with the Steelers QB for long enough that they were totally in sync, and it is hard to calculate how much of Brown’s dominance was a result of that connection.

On the flip side, it is possible he could be a major part of transforming the Raiders offense, turning Carr back into a top-half QB in the process. I just do not recommend betting your second-round pick on it.
