FanDuel MLB: Summary and Example Lineup for the Main Slate on July 25th 2019

We absolutely hate the Early Only slate and I may not play it. But if you do, try to NOT play deGrom in your lineups, otherwise you’ll have the same lineup as practically everyone else playing MLB DFS on Thursday afternoon. Unfortunately, the Main slate doesn’t look much different.

However, you could play an Anderson or Plutko for a risky value play for the Main slate. While they each of a chance to have low 15 to 30 points, they’re one of the few who also have some decent upside of an additional 10 to 15 FanDuel MLB points.

But, I’m likely going with Berrios in all of my lineups, and finding a way to differentiate the offense. That’s right, I’m gladly eating the chalk at pitcher. And for offense, the offensive stacks are almost equally obvious. The most runs of this slate should come out of Anaheim, CA tonight. So stacking the Angels and Orioles will be a popular play.

However, I’m not convinced everyone will spend the time finding a way to fit all of the top offensive plays in your offense and then finding those two or three super cheap guys to make it work. There are several $2.0-$2.2K offensive options which could still yield six to nine points for you, while you pile up on points with the rest of the better talent.

With that summary in mind, here’s a look at a sample lineup for the Main FanDuel MLB slate on Thursday, July 25th:

Main Slate

P               Jose Berrios ($9,300)

C/1B        Trey Mancini ($3,800)

2B             David Fletcher ($2,700)

3B             Renato Nunez ($3,200)

SS             Humberto Arteaga ($2,000)

OF             Mike Trout ($5,000)

OF             Anthony Santander ($3,200)

OF             Shohei Ohtani ($3,800)

UTIL          Kristopher Negron ($2,000)

Remaining Salary: $0

Note: This is a recommended lineup after discussing our top options for today. You should use this as a guide, and provide your own input when building FanDuel MLB lineups.  We are not telling you, or selling you, to use this lineup.
