All-women’s WWE Network show

A lot of the problem with the current state of the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles, or the women’s division as a whole, is that the roster is stacked. Now with the brand split basically being dissolved due to the new network deals there’s even less wiggle room to showcase a lot of the talent that isn’t already at the top-tier level.

Unfortunately this is where the women’s tag division takes a hit. They barely get featured, or not featured at all, and when they do manage to scrape out some time the next week doesn’t stay consistent because other storylines take prominence.

If the WWE opted to create an all women’s weekly network show it would allow for more storylines to be built across the boards of the women’s tag division. This way, you could showcase teams in angles that aren’t specifically revolving around the titles. It offers a way to build up credibility for the time when these teams step up to challenge the champions.

More airtime would allow for them to build up their team repertoire and gimmicks so you immediately get a sense of what they’re bringing into a match, instead of haphazardly throwing teams together that don’t gel.

Pulling all the women from primetime TV is not the intention here. Instead, provide the mainstream audiences with a call-back package showing what went down on the Network show as a lead in to the matches held on the main roster. This is a win-win that lets the female talent explore what they can do without taking over a majority of the airtime on the primetime programming.
