DraftKings MLB One off Plays:

Honestly, I don’t like a whole lot about the Pittsburgh offense right now. Matz hasn’t been good against lefties or righties this year. The righties hit for power, the lefties hit for average. Josh Bell is worth a look here, but I can also get on board with an Adam Frazier punt batting leadoff or a super cheap Jung Ho Kang if he starts

More from DraftKings

I’m not making a point to go after DeSclafani, but Daniel Murphy and Charlie Blackmon are both very strong plays tonight. Yonder Alonso is an interesting flier against his former team if he gets the start, but the Rockies haven’t worked him in much as of yet.

While I don’t think Sparkman gets blasted at home, he’s not shutting out Cleveland either. I am going to limit my exposure to Lindor, Ramirez, and Jason Kipnis on the cheap though.

Surprisingly, Dexter Fowler has two homers against Gerrit Cole. Wong has the other. The bad news? They are a combined 12-63 against Cole.

I can’t bring myself to use Trevor Cahill here no matter how cheap he is. He did go one inning in Thursday’s marathon, but should be good to go around five in this one. Baltimore’s offense has been better lately, but they are still iffy against righties. Dwight Smith Jr. is my main target here, but I may use guys like Hanser Alberto and Santander as fillers here and there as well.

Adrian Sampson has been awful on the road, but he didn’t allow a run there earlier this year. I want Mark Canha here due to some bad blood between he and Sampson. Ramon Laureano and Matt Chapman have both homered off of him as well. These guys are for sprinkling in my lineups, not a mini stack.
