Coming in on a three-match winning streak, Kota Ibushi meets up with a man he has an 0-2 singles record against, Bad Luck Fale. A rivalry that’s spanned across the UK, U.S. and Germany finally reaches Japan when Zack Sabre Jr. clashes with Will Ospreay. Lance Archer will look to be the one to put an end to Kazuchika Okada’s winning streak and be Okada’s only second singles loss of the year.
Two of the more shocking developments in the tournament have been KENTA’s success mirrored with SANADA’s misfortune. With his back up against the wall, SANADA will need this win in order to keep his G1 hopes alive. The main event sees Hiroshi Tanahashi taking on EVIL. Both men will want to maintain a positive record as they head into the latter stages of the tournament.
