WWE Monday Night Raw preview, July 29: Watch online

What a week it’s been around WWE. SummerSlam is sneaking up in just a few short weeks, and the former Universal Champion has his hands full this week. Let’s take a look at what we can expect, when Raw rolls into Little Rock on Monday night.

Last week, Dolph Ziggler shocked the WWE Universe when he laid out the legendary Shawn Michaels with a dose of his own superkick. The WWE Hall of Famer had told Ziggler that he was basically a second-rate version of himself, and that earned him a swift kick to the jaw. But it comes at a price, as former Universal Champion Seth Rollins is stepping up to the plate in defense of the Heartbreak Kid. The two will will square off on Monday night, as Rollins is gearing up for a big match against Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam. Will Rollins be focused on the Showoff, or is he thinking too much about trying to reclaim his title? Ziggler is a master opportunist, and could easily pull off the upset if Rollins isn’t careful.

Tempers also flared last week between Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe. After Joe had some less than kind words about members of Reigns’ family, Reigns came out and confronted him. This week, the two will step into thing the ring for what’s being called a “Samoan Summit,” where they will attempt to clear their differences and find a workable resolution to their problems. We pretty much all know this is not going to end well, and there will be a fight at some point … believe that.

In the midst of last week’s Raw Reunion, the 24/7 Championship saw a revolving door of owners throughout the night. Everyone from Pat Patterson, Gerald Brisco, Alundra Blayze and even the “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase had their turn with the title as the show went on. But in the end, the focus came back to Drake Maverick and R-Truth. It was in fact R-Truth that would sneak away with not only the 24/7 Championship, but Maverick’s wife! What will happen this week as Maverick looks to get his life and marriage back on track? And what craziness will we see from R-Truth this week?
