4. P.J. Fleck, Minnesota

If there’s one coach in college football who I’d pick to start a chant, it’s P.J. Fleck. He got everyone caught on to the “Row the Boat” chant at Western Michigan and now Minnesota and his contagious energy and bubbly personality draws plenty of fans.

Fleck would be the loud guy at a tailgate who you’d be hesitant to talk to at first because you think he’s annoying, but once you get to know him, he’s one of the most genuine guys out there.

PJ also just looks like a guy who could crush a six-pack and make it look easy. He’d probably slam the empty cans on his dome to turn them into little aluminum pancakes while screaming “Row the Boat!” until the cows come home.

Not many people — not limited to just coaches — have the energy that Fleck has and that’s what makes him so unique. Kickoff is about to take place and you need to head to the game? No worries, PJ will be there ready to drink a celebratory beverage when the game is over.

First one at the tailgate, last one to leave.
