Early DraftKings MLB picks July 31: Bank on Castillo
It would be too simple for the DraftKings MLB tournaments to be split up between six and eight games, wouldn’t it? DraftKings insisted on chopping it up even more. The four east coast early games are the DraftKings MLB early slate. The two afternoon games are the DraftKings MLB afternoon slate. The remaining eight games go on at night. I guess we will attack this the best we can with what DraftKings gave us.

There are some really good pitchers on the early slate and some ugly ones on the turbo. They should have put these together for one big DraftKings MLB early tournament, honestly.
Rain: Washington(very slight), Cincinnati(very slight), New York(slight early to moderate in fifth inning on), Kansas City(very slight)
Wind: NONE
Hot/Humid: Washington(hot), Cincinnati(humid), New York(hot), Kansas City(humid), Denver(hot)
New York is a nice hitting environment. If the game goes quickly, they should dodge the rain all together. I doubt that happens, so SPs are safe, but this game may not go the full nine. Everywhere else looks like pretty good hitting weather.
I went heavy on Price and lighter on Thor, Canning, and Lopez. My Thor/Price/Angels/Mariners stack did well. My Price/Canning/Mariners stack with Corey Dickerson one off was the best lineup, hitting just over 170. I ended up about breaking even though because of too much exposure to Price.
These tips are based mostly on past performance. This is a nice tool for building a lineup, but should not be the only pieces of information you use. We have plenty of writers on here who give you relevant information no matter which site you play on, and we all attack the slate from different angles.
