It has been five seasons and exactly 99 episodes, now it is time to see how the final episode of Jane the Virgin ends.

Last week, Jane was in a great place. Her novel sold for $500,000. The evil woman (Rose) who kidnapped Mateo as an infant and faked Michael’s death giving him amnesia as well is finally dead. Impaled on the alien tail on a statue of Rogelio at the premiere for This is Mars.

The only bad thing looming over Jane right now is that her parents informing her that they are leaving for New York. Oh, and whatever telenovela twists are coming down the pipe in this final hour. Things seem a little too happy for everyone right now.

One reveal that is for sure coming before the finale ends is the audience finding out who the narrator has been this entire time. And a meta ending for this series would not be surprising, otherwise known as Jane’s novel somehow tying into the show we’ve been watching this whole time.

It does look like everybody is heading for a happy ending. This includes the long-awaited wedding of Jane and Rafael. The series finale also serves as the milestone 100th episode of the series and weddings are common events in 100th episodes.
