After a day’s break, New Japan returns with the B-Block’s sixth night of tournament action. Here’s all you need to know about G1 Climax 29 Night 12 including how to watch.

The main event features a clash between CHAOS stablemates, as Hirooki Goto looks to bring his record to .500 in a match against Tomohiro Ishii. The show is set to take place on Thursday, August 1, live from the Fukuoka Citizen Gymnasium in Hakata-ku, Fukuoka.

All ten B-Block participants will have their sixth tournament match including three first time ever singles matches (Jay White vs. Taichi, Jon Moxley vs. Toru Yano, Jeff Cobb vs. Shingo Takagi). Underneath them will be four tag team matches set up as previews for the B-Block’s next set of tournament matches scheduled to take place the following Saturday.

Jay White (2-3) vs. Taichi (2-3)

Tomohiro Ishii (3-2) vs. Hirooki Goto (2-3)

The fate of the B-Block rests in the hands of Toru Yano. He’s the next man to set foot in the ring with the undefeated Jon Moxley. More than half of the block has the chance of being mathematically eliminated from winning the tournament if Yano falls victim to Moxley.

Jay White is beginning to pick up steam after a slow start to his G1. If he wants to keep his tournament hopes alive he’ll need to keep to his winning ways by defeating Taichi. The biggest shock out of the B-Block has been Tetsuya Naito’s decline. Despite being the fan favorite before the tournament, his chances of winning the block are beginning to fade.

The main event is a clash between CHAOS stablemates, Tomohiro Ishii and Hirooki Goto. This will be the fifth year in a row they’ve met in the G1 and throughout their 13 previous singles encounters, Goto has owned the series with a 10-3 record.
