DraftKings MLB picks August 2: A Matz May in baseball heaven
We have a bit of a weird MLB slate today. The Cubs and Brewers have a matinee at Wrigley, leaving only 12 games for our DraftKings MLB tournaments tonight. That’s a little lighter than most Friday DraftKings MLB action, and it shows. The pitching leaves a lot to be desired.

Rain: New York(very slight), Philadelphia(very slight), Pittsburgh(moderate), Baltimore(slight), Cleveland(very slight), Atlanta(slight), Houston(very slight), Minneapolis(very slight), Denver(very slight)

Hot/Humid: New York(humid), Philadelphia(humid), Pittsburgh(humid), Baltimore(humid), Arlington(hot), Houston(both), Phoenix(brutally hot)
The roof will likely close in Houston for the sultry conditions. The heat has subsided in most of the country, but Texas and Phoenix are still going to be miserable. Most of the rain chances is pop up storms besides Pittsburgh. However, that game will play, but likely start an hour or so later than scheduled.
I had a ton of Woj exposure and no Vlad, but my Boston and St Louis stacks still game through. Kershaw and Flaherty saved a couple of Woj lineups, so overall it was a solid night. I also doubled up in the afternoon thanks to Wheeler and Kingery.
These tips are based mostly on past performance. This is a nice tool for building a lineup, but should not be the only pieces of information you use. We have plenty of writers on here who give you relevant information no matter which site you play on, and we all attack the slate from different angles.
Thunder Dan uses advanced metrics. Lumberjack uses a lot of pitch data. Tulloch uses a lot of leverage plays. Joe Metz and Juan Bond give you all the value plays. Between all of us, you can build a beast of a lineup on any site!
