If you haven’t noticed yet, the FanSided Fantasy NFL writers team recently finished a very competitive Fantasy Football 2019 mock draft intending to provide 12 comprehensive breakdowns of our draft strategy from each respective pick.

I had the 3rd pick, and had a very interesting Fantasy Football draft!

Our goal here with this 2019 Fantasy Football mock draft was to bring you a series of 12 different articles, all respective to where each particular contributor drafted. We all go in with a strategy, but we all know that can strategy can go off the rails quickly and we are forced to adjust on the fly.

We used Yahoo! Fantasy Football as our site of choice and used a 0.5-PPR scoring system, with a 15-round draft, constructing rosters of one quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers, a tight end, two flex spots, a defense, and six bench spots. We also excluded kickers and added a second flex spot.

Not only will I tell you who I picked and why, but I will also explain who was I debating, and who got sniped from me along the way. My draft was very interesting in the sense that a curve-ball was thrown at me in the third round, and I shaped my draft accordingly. Overall, I would not mind starting the season with the team I drafted here.

I will provide you with a short blurb on each pick, with three picks per slide on the first nine rounds. I will then condense the last six rounds into one page to wrap things up.

Be sure to keep an eye out for these articles as most of our staff have either released theirs or has them ready for you. We all took this mock draft very seriously to bring you good content, so make sure you check the FanSided Fantasy Football page often to keep up with the series.

Without further ado, let’s breakdown how I did from pick three in the mock draft, and you can decide if my third-round gamble was worth the risk.
