Everything you need to know to prepare you for the upcoming edition of WWE NXT for August 7 on the WWE Network.
DISCLAIMER: WWE NXT is a pre-taped wrestling program, and results of the show have already hit the internet ahead of time. We will not be spoiling those results here at FanSided; thanks for reading.
This is it, the final episode of WWE NXT before we arrive at TakeOver: Toronto this Saturday night on the WWE Network. While there aren’t many matches currently scheduled for Toronto, the main event of this week’s show could have easily been a match this weekend at TakeOver. Instead, we get it on Wednesday night as Matt Riddle goes one-on-one with Killian Dain.

Dain made his return to the black and gold brand several weeks ago making an example out of the King of Bros after his match with the end result of putting Riddle right through the stage at the top of the ramp. Obviously, the Bro will be looking for revenge tonight. Will he get it? Tune in to find out!

Also on tonight’s show, The NXT Tag Team Champions the Street Profits will be at Full Sail Live for a contract signing with their challengers on Saturday night, the Undisputed Era’s Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish. With the current champs seemingly being preoccupied with their appearances on other WWE shows as of late, it will be interesting to see if they will be able to focus on the task at hand at TakeOver or if the Undisputed Era will end up claiming more gold in the process.
This is the current line up of what we can expect to see this Wednesday night on WWE NXT:
– Matt Riddle will go to war with Killian Dain in the main event
– Shane Thorne goes one-on-one with Joaquin Wilde
We also expect plenty of last minute build for the card TakeOver card as it is just a few days away. Who knows what we will see tonight when we tune into the black and gold brand.
