2015: Stephen Amell & Neville vs. Stardust & Wade Barrett

It was an interesting summer of 2015 for Cody Rhodes. While he was in a transition into the cosmic character known as Stardust, he became engulfed in a feud with a superhero of sorts. He began trading words with Stephen Amell, who plays the role of “Arrow” on the CW Network. It turned into a little feud that actually landed Rhodes a guest spot on the show.

Amell made a couple of guest appearances on Monday Night Raw  as well, one of which resulted in him getting attacked by Stardust. It eventually led to Amell and Neville begging Triple H, who was running Raw at the time, to make a tag match for SummerSlam. Triple H reluctantly agreed, and put Amell and Neville against Stardust and King Barrett.

Stardust spent the majority of the match trying to taunt Amell, but the Arrow actor showed some surprising flashes of skill. He even went to the top rope and took out both Barrett and Stardust with a body splash to the outside of the ring. Moments later, Neville would hit his electrifying Red Arrow finisher on Barrett to pick up the victory for his team.

Stardust crawled away in defeat, but the two would continue to trade jabs on Twitter. For the value of having a network television star getting involved in the action, we’ll give an honorary mention on this list. Though Stardust is a mere afterthought in history, one might wonder how a one-on-one cosmic clash would’ve gone down between the two stars.
