MLB DFS Pitching Plays

Mike Minor  – Something must be in the water down there in Texas, because they have two very underrated, but yet very solid arms that have emerged this season. Lance Lynn, and this man right here, Mike Minor.

With a 4.35 xFIP, 24.5% K rate, 42.6% GB rate, and only 36% HC. Anytime he is pitching away from hitters paradise in Texas is a great time to pitch Minor. The Brewers are better against RHP, and will be without Yelich again which can only benefit Mike. He will see more righties, where his numbers are pretty much identical, and might be slightly better when we are talking about power. He has a low ISO, not much HC, or FB, and a solid K rate.

Pitch Mix  – Mike uses a fastball 50% of the time, with a slider, and change around 25%. When he does use the curve, it gets great whiffs over 50%, fastball gets over 30% whiffs as well. The change, and fastball get over 40% GB as well. Minor has a change that gets ten inches of horizontal movement, and six inches of vertical movement which is quite impressive.

I can imagine him seeing very low ownership, especially since people do not like to target the Brewers, but they strikeout quite a bit.
