MLB DFS Pitching Plays

Chris Bassitt  – Any pitcher who gets the White Sox, is a pitcher that we need to be considering. With a 4.74 xFIP, 22.3% K rate, 43.6% GB rate, and only 35% HC. It is also worth mentioning, Bassitt put up 46 FD points last month against this same Sox team.

They have a 25% K rate against RHP, and 48% GB, with a miserable .137 ISO. Bassitt will see slightly more LHH, where the K rate goes up 4% for him, but he gives up slightly more power, but the White Sox only have two power threats, and they are both righties.

Pitch Mix  – Chris throws the sinker 44%, fastball 22%, mixing in the slider, curve, and change. The whiffs on the curve, slider, and change are around 25%, with over 50% GB on that sinker, and last time out he also had 50% GB on the fastball. He actually has great movement, with a curve around ten inches, that could pose some major issues for these terrible White Sox hitters. He made some slight changes from last year, and is priced too low on FanDuel especially considering the match-up.
