DraftKings MLB daily notes:

E-Rod has had at least 15 DraftKings points in every game since July 1st, but I still have no desire to use him in Cleveland. There are too many switch hitters and too much right handed power in this lineup. Luplow may be out, but Franimal and Yasiel Puig more than make up for that. I’m finally off of Kipnis tonight, but I’m still high on Jose Ramirez and Lindor.

Boston didn’t do so well against Plesac the first time around. I don’t think they will here either. If you want to go after him, use the lefties. That would be Devers, a still hot Andrew Benintendi, and Bradley and Brock Holt for value.

It’s hard to go heavy on Orioles until we know who is pitching the bulk of the innings behind Chad Green in the second game of the twin bill. The Orioles hit Verlander yesterday, so I do want some exposure here. Rio Ruiz has homered in two straight games and likely wont start against Paxton, so pencil him in for the nightcap. Santander, Hanser Alberto, and Villar are pretty safe no matter who is on the hill as well.

Anthony DeSclafani is way too expensive given his 4.72 road ERA and the fact that he hasn’t hit 20 DraftKings points in a road game since May 1st. No one in this Washington lineup has homered off of him in 41 at bats, but Juan Soto and Brian Dozier have both hit him well. Adam Eaton is worth a look on the cheap as well.

A decent July by Peter Lambert has been overshadowed by an awful August. Arizona’s offense isn’t one of great prowess, but they are plenty good enough to beat up on a guy who’s stuff isn’t at his best. The problem with a stack here is the price. Marte, Dyson, Locastro, Carson Kelly, and Eduardo Escobar are all $5,000 or more. I don’t want to play any of them at that price! However, the prices on Jake Lamb and Nick Ahmed look good to me. So does Adam Jones. I’m playing the cheaper side of this.
