DraftKings MLB picks August 13: A Flaherty for the dramatic
We have a 15 game monster for our DraftKings MLB tournaments tonight. Houston and Chicago were rained out last night, so the game included in this tournament is the night game of the doubleheader today. Greinke is slated to go in the afternoon game, so that weakens the pitching a little. It still can’t hold a candle to last night’s mess.

This is one of the more active weather nights we have had in some time. Being it’s a full slate, I’m not even messing with New York or Philly. Philly has a chance of a delayed start and then playing, but I’m guessing New York can’t play at all. Right now it looks worse than Chicago did last night.
Washington is more a threat of a delayed start than an in game delay, so that looks pretty good right now. The roof should be shut in Miami. The best hitting weather is in Atlanta, where it’s a sultry late summer night in the south.
I stopped with five builds last night because I really didn’t like the pitching. Well, the pitching didn’t matter. Fedde and Mitch Keller were the top scoring pitchers. All five of my lineups placed despite having Suarez in four of the five. All of my stacks hit to propel the lineups into the cash, but the upside was limited with Suarez.
These tips are based mostly on past performance. This is a nice tool for building a lineup, but should not be the only pieces of information you use. We have plenty of writers on here who give you relevant information no matter which site you play on, and we all attack the slate from different angles.
Thunder Dan uses advanced metrics. Lumberjack uses a lot of pitch data. Tulloch uses a lot of leverage plays. Joe Metz and Juan Bond give you all the value plays. Between all of us, you can build a beast of a lineup on any site!
