Here’s all the information you need for the August 13, 2019 edition of WWE SmackDown Live.

WWE SummerSlam is now a part of history, and we look forward to this week’s edition of SmackDown Live. This week, we get the fallout from Sunday night’s event in Toronto and prepare to start looking ahead to the future.

Over the last couple of weeks, Roman Reigns has been at the center of a multitude of “accidents.” First it was the lighting equipment that fell on top of him, which was later revealed to be the fault of a forklift driver. Then, it was a car trying to run him down as Samoa Joe was attempting to confront him.

Reigns tracked down Buddy Murphy, who after a little scuffle in the locker room, revealed that Rowan was behind the recent events. But Murphy felt disrespected by Reigns and challenged him to a match this week. Needless to say, Reigns had no problem accepting.

On Sunday night, Kofi Kingston survived a battle with Randy Orton for the WWE Championship. After a war that saw the two go to every length, Kingston would walk out victorious and still champion. Now the WWE Champion gets a moment to breathe before preparing for whatever challenge lies ahead. Will we see the champion this week, and will see Orton react to not capturing the title?

Also at SummerSlam, Kevin Owens would remain employed after a win over Shane McMahon. After introducing Elias as a special enforcer, it seemed like the odds were stacked against Owens. But KO was able to defy those odds, and knock off Shane-O-Mac. What will Owens have to say this week, having knocked off the guy in charge of the show?

It’s also been announced that the highly-anticipated move to FOX on October 4 will be the 20th anniversary of SmackDown Live. Several legends will likely be in attendance, and we’ll probably find out a little more about this big event as it gets closer.
