NFL DFS Tight Ends

Joshua Perkins – PHI TE

One of the best things to look for when filling out your NFL DFS lineups are teams that are short at a specific position. For example, the Philadelphia Eagles at the tight end position.

Dallas Goedert suffered a calf injury that is expected to sideline him the rest of the preseason, Zach Ertz will be treated with extreme caution, Richard Rodgers has been dealing with a foot injury, and that really just leaves a couple of other options. Will Tye, who has never been much of a threat as a receiver, and our guy, Joshua Perkins.

Perkins has been drawing rave reviews in Eagles training camp, and he will now have the opportunity to step up and prove that belongs. Few teams prioritize getting the ball to their tight ends as much as Philadelphia, and by this time next week, Perkins might be one of the hottest names in DFS. At this point, I am all in on Perkins.

NFL DFS – Defense/Special Teams

New York Jets DST

One of my favorite strategies is to stack a wide receiver who also returns punts with that team’s defense. The Jets defense/special teams is the unit I will want to roll with if I’m using Greg Dortch in my lineup. Trying to predict special teams touchdowns is like trying to catch lightning in a bottle, but this could be a quick route to the top of a GPP field.

Jacksonville Jaguars DST

This is easy. Sign me up for any defense that could get an entire half against Clayton Thorson.
