DraftKings MLB picks August 19: Great Miley’s per Gallen

DraftKings MLB one-off plays:

Jorge Soler has six homers in his last ten games with 13 RBI in that span. Hunter Dozier is also in the middle of a hot streak. These are the two Royals you want tonight.

Marco Gonzales is very overpriced tonight. It happened because of what Boyd did to the Rays yesterday, I’m guessing. Gonzales put up 22.9 DraftKings points on the Rays in Seattle just ten days ago. He wasn’t particularly sharp in that game though, and I think we would need him to be to get enough value out of Marco. I may take a run at him with Pham, but I’m not crazy about anyone in this lineup. Jesus Aguilar does have the homer and three of the four RBI for the Rays against Marco.

Honestly, Josh Bell is the only Pirate that I really feel good about playing right now. I can make room for Bryan Reynolds, but there are others I like better for the price.

Seattle struggles against lefties, so I don’t really see a lot worth chasing here. Austin Nola and Kyle Seager are worth a look if you want to take a run at McKay. He has given up his share of runs so far in his career.

Danny Santana and Elvis Andrus are my favorite Rangers tonight if I take a run at Peters. However, Peters does have a solid track record. I’m not going to sink too much into chasing after him.

Ronny Rodriguez hit a three run homer against Miley earlier this year. He’s cheap enough to take a shot on him doing it again. Niko Goodrum is worth a look as well.

The Rockies got on base a lot against Gallen, but didn’t do much else. There are plenty of other places to attack offensively tonight. I don’t know why you would waste the money on Rockies. Yonder Alonso or Daniel Murphy are worth a look, but Arenado, Story, and Blackmon all look overpriced.
