DraftKings MLB picks August 20: Kershaw’s home cooking

It’s a typical Tuesday for our DraftKings MLB slate. We have another 15 game monster for our main DraftKings MLB tournaments. We have a decent upper tier, a sparsely populated middle tier, and a massive lower tier for pitching. Where’s that value so we can still pack some bats in there? Let’s check it out!

Unfortunately, the early Rangers/Angels game of the twin bill is taking Heaney. Be on the lookout for resting players and extra values for the second game of the doubleheader. UPDATE: Heaney is now listed as the starter for the night game with Barria in Game 1. Keep an eye on this to make sure nothing changes.

Rain: Baltimore(moderate), Pittsburgh(moderate as game goes on), New York(slight), Cincinnati(slight), Atlanta(moderate), St Louis(slight in early innings), Chicago(moderate in early innings)

Wind: 12 mph out to center in Oakland

Hot/Humid: Arlington(hot both games), Baltimore(both), Pittsburgh(both), New York(humid), Cincinnati(both), Boston(humid later), Atlanta(humid), St Louis(both), Chicago(humid), Minneapolis(humid), Houston(both), Phoenix(hot), Oakland(very humid)

There is still some nasty and sticky heat that is combined with a chance of storms in most places. Some delays are likely tonight, though as of now, nothing looks like it will stick around long enough to wash a game out. Keep an eye on those delays though.

The pitching was mostly good last night, but all of the stacks besides Washington failed. A late White Sox stack with Miley did place me in the late slate though.

These tips are based mostly on past performance. This is a nice tool for building a lineup, but should not be the only pieces of information you use. We have plenty of writers on here who give you relevant information no matter which site you play on, and we all attack the slate from different angles.
