Every MLB stadium ranked from worst to best

10. Citi Field — New York Mets
Citi Field could very well be a better ballpark than Yankee Stadium.
Yes, I said it.
So why is the new house that Derek Jeter built ranked ahead of the new house that the Mets built? That’s a simple answer — the Yankees are a far more successful baseball franchise than the Mets are at this current point in time. Imagine, if the Mets were a more consistent ball club, then Citi Field would be in the top 10.
The Mets bought one of the best ballparks money could buy, and trust me, Citi Field cost a pretty penny, to the tune of $900 million (over $1 billion in today’s dollars), a figure that would have folks faint in Tampa Bay and Oakland. While Shea Stadium (the Mets’ old home) was one of the more iconic baseball stadiums in the league, Citi Field is certainly more fan-friendly than the stadium it replaced.
Citi Field is near perfection when it comes to ballpark design and atmosphere, the concessions offered here is one of the best in the Majors. Sure, some of the views could be better, and the ballpark is notorious for stymying power hitters, but when it comes to MLB ballparks, few did it better than the Mets with Citi Field. That is a not just an opinion, that is a fact.
Now if only they could fix the team on the field?
