Week 9: Oct. 26 – Wisconsin at Ohio State

Brutus Buckeye is certainly going to get some time on College GameDay this season. Week Nine of the season lines up perfectly with the Wisconsin Badgers visiting Columbus.

By this point in the season, we will know a lot about the Buckeyes in their first season, post-Urban Meyer. The Justin Fields era under new coach Ryan Day will either being going swimmingly at this point or remain a work in progress.

As for Wisconsin, they’ve been a heavyweight in the West Division and while the hype has surrounded Nebraska, they will have plenty to say this year.

Other potential options for Week Nine include Auburn visiting LSU, Penn State at Michigan State or Texas visiting TCU. Should the Badgers and Buckeyes both have one loss or less at the most by this point, it will be an easy call. However, if all of these programs are sort of lumped together in record, it’s not as easy of a call.

Again, it’s one of those weeks where there isn’t one game that jumps off the page. These are all good games and there tend to be some surprises as the season wears on at this point. Predicting where GameDay will end up gets more difficult in certain spots of the schedule and Week 9 fits the bill.
