Week 12: Nov. 16 – Michigan State at Michigan

The Michigan Wolverines are big favorites in the Big Ten this season. Many experts feel this is the year the Wolverines make the leap to College Football Playoff team under Jim Harbaugh.

Michigan has been a good program under Harbaugh’s eyes, but they’ve also fallen short of expectations. Losing in big games and some gut-wrenching moments have kept Harbaugh’s tenure from being what most feel it could be.

One of those gut-wrenching losses was at home to Michigan State. The ill-fated punt attempt by Blake O’Neill that resulted in the Spartans stealing one of the most improbable victories is a Big Ten moment that won’t soon be forgotten.

Week 12 will see these two rivals square off in Ann Arbor. Despite winning in East Lansing last year, the Wolverines haven’t defeated the Spartans at home since 2012.

If Brady Hoke can get a win out of the Wolverines at home against Michigan State, then why can’t Jim Harbaugh?
