Predicting College GameDay destinations: Are they comin’ to your city in 2019?
Week 13: Nov. 23 – TCU at Oklahoma
Week 13 is a tradition unlike any other. It’s the week Alabama and Auburn schedule FCS opponents before facing each other. Fortunately, there are some other good games on the menu that week.
An interesting clash in the Big 12 that week will take place between TCU and Oklahoma in Norman. Oklahoma is looking to be in full swing toward a playoff spot by this point and will be gunning for a spot in the Big 12 championship.
This game being a GameDay spot most likely depends on the success of TCU. Oklahoma should be in contention for a playoff spot at this point. The Horned Frogs were picked to finish fourth in the conference.
Should TCU be hanging around with a respectable record, it’d be nice to showcase Lincoln Riley and company in a game that doesn’t revolve around the Red River Rivalry. Texas should be getting their own GameDay week to themselves when LSU comes to town Week Two, so Oklahoma should be on tap as well.
As for other options this week, the other best bet is Texas A&M visiting Georgia. This could be a pivotal week for both of these programs that will have a huge effect in the College Football Playoff poll.
