Week 3: Sept. 14 – Alabama at South Carolina

It’s Tua time in Week 3 for College GameDay. The options for this week aren’t as strong as say Week Two, but Alabama hitting the road for a conference battle with South Carolina should be good Saturday afternoon fare.

Tua Tagovailoa and the Alabama Crimson Tide are seeking to avenge the way their season ended last year. Before they can even begin thinking College Football Playoff, their focus will be on running through the SEC one opponent at a time. Will Muschamp and South Carolina’s defense will have their hands full.

It’s the first time these two programs will meet on the gridiron since 2010. The Gamecocks won that game by a score of 35-21. Needless to say, it’s been a while since these two programs have met.

Other potential options for this particular week include Oklahoma at UCLA, Florida at Kentucky and Clemson at Syracuse.

Chip Kelly’s still got a long ways to go to rebuilding UCLA so that battle might not be as compelling yet. This might be one of the least compelling weeks of college football on the schedule in all honesty.
