Week 6: Oct. 5 – Georgia at Tennessee

Georgia and Tennessee have put on some college football showcases in the SEC East. GameDay should find their way to Knoxville for this showdown in Week 6.

This will be a big road test for the Bulldogs as they look to punch their ticket to Atlanta for the SEC Championship Game this season. No matter the state of the Tennessee program, Neyland Stadium will be a tough venue to play for the opposition.

The last two years have been decidedly in Georgia’s favor, but before that was a string of competitive contests. These two programs are 23-23-2 against each other all time. That’s about as even as it can get between two programs.

The program that comes away with a win here will be leading the all-time series against the other. The winner will also likely have a foot up on the other in the SEC East race.

Will Tennessee rise to the occasion and give the Bulldogs a fight after scuffling for the past two seasons?
