Week 8: Oct. 19 – Oregon at Washington

The best Pac-12 game of the season last year was the battle between Oregon and Washington. The game went to overtime in Eugene and saw the Ducks come out on top.

This season, this is probably the most anticipated game in the Pac-12. Both teams are vying for supremacy in the North and a win over the other will be a massive leg up. With Justin Herbert back at Oregon, the Ducks are poised to make a big run in the conference.

Washington, the defending Pac-12 champs, will have a new look at quarterback this year. Jacob Eason has transferred back home after starting his college career with the Georgia Bulldogs. Chris Petersen is hoping for a smooth transition that will keep the Huskies’ playoff hopes alive and well.

Both of these programs have made it to the College Football Playoff and have been carrying the conference this decade at one point or another.

If last year was any indication, both of these programs are going to have a hard time gaining separation from the other. A weekend in Seattle is the perfect place to be for the GameDay crew in Week 8.
