Aston Villa face Everton at Villa Park on Friday, Aug. 23. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

The third week of the Premier League season kicks off on Friday as Aston Villa host Everton at Villa Park. The Villians are one of four Premier League clubs who lost their first two games of the season. Everton are unbeaten with four points in their first two games.

Aston Villa lost 2-1 to Bournemouth last weekend. The Villians have scored in both their games but have conceded five goals. Villa signed four defenders over the summer but so far, are not getting results. The biggest signing of the summer for Villa was Wesley. The striker was signed to replace Tammy Abraham, who scored 25 goals last season but returned to Chelsea after his loan deal ended. Wesley has yet to score for Villa but will be the focal point of Villa’s attack against Everton.

After a scoreless draw in their first game against Crystal Palace, Everton picked up their first win last weekend, beating Watford 1-0. The Toffees are the only team in the Premier League to keep a clean sheet in both of their games this season. Everton’s back four is the strength of the team and should frustrate most clubs outside of the top six.

While Everton have yet to allow a goal, they have only scored one goal. Manager Marco Silva has lots of attacking options to choose from but has yet to find the right combination of players to start. Alex Iwobi was signed from Arsenal on deadline day and could make his Everton debut on Saturday. Despite having a breakout season last year with Arsenal, Iwobi was unwanted by the club and should benefit from greater opportunities at Everton.
