DraftKings MLB one-off plays:
If Foltynewicz had any kind of control right now I might roll him out there against the Mets. He doesn’t though. Folty has walked seven over two starts since his return to the rotation and only made it through six innings once. Todd Frazier has the only Mets homer against Folty, but it is his only hit in 13 tries. Pete Alonso is the guy you want to take a shot with here. No one else has hit him well.
If you feel like taking a run at deGrom and his potentially high ownership, Freddie Freeman and Josh Donaldson are the guys to do it with. Donaldson is 3-8 with two homers and three RBI. Freeman is 14-51(.275) with three homers and five RBI. Acuna is solid, but probably not worth the price tonight.
Jorge Soler is the Royal you want if you’re wanting to take a run at Plesac. Soler is 2-5 with a homer and two RBI. No one else has better than one hit in five tries against Plesac.

As per usual, the Rockies you want to take a shot with are the expensive ones. I tend to think that money is better spent elsewhere, especially on this large of a slate.
Brian Anderson is the only Marlin I would even consider tonight. Anderson is 4-15 with two homers against Velasquez in his career.
So….about those four Angels that have pummeled Greinke. One is Justin Upton, who is in an awful slump. Trout doesn’t have a homer against him in 15 at bats. Pujols has hit him well, but he is not the hitter he was when facing Greinke before. The only one I’m really on here is Kole Calhoun. Calhoun is 7-14 with a homer against Greinke.
This is one place where I can see taking a bit of a run at Berrios. Niko Goodrum has homered off of him before and will be batting cleanup. Ronny Rodriguez isn’t a bad play on the cheap. Just be careful how much exposure you have. The Tigers are still far from a good offense.
I still like Chris Paddack, especially at home, but I can’t see paying the price for him against a team like Boston. The Padres are limiting Paddack’s innings already (without actually saying so). The chances that he hits 20 DraftKings points against Boston are practically nil, especially considering he hasn’t come close to that mark yet this month. I like Rafael Devers and Mookie here, but it’s more an attack on the bullpen than Paddack.
Again, don’t mess with Ryu at home. An Aaron Judge one off could be worth it, but I’m even leery about that. Ryu has allowed three homers in 77.2 innings at Dodger Stadium this year.
I’m expecting a strong outing from Thornton tonight, but Austin Nola homered off of him last week and is about the only Mariners hitter that isn’t in a huge slump right now. Kyle Seager is the only other one I’d consider, and will probably roll both of them in one or two builds.
