Southampton face Brighton at St. Mary’s on Saturday, Aug. 24. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

While Liverpool would have been a little fatigued last Saturday, having gone to extra-time during their Super Cup win over Chelsea in Turkey just three days earlier, Southampton were impressive enough to suggest their fortunes will improve this season.

They created some good chances long before Adrian’s now-infamous error gifted them a goal late on, and the result in their 3-0 defeat to Burnley on the opening day of the season didn’t reflect the balance of the match overall.

Brighton have enjoyed a curious season so far, winning by three goals against Watford on the opening day in an evenly matched game, before emerging with just a point a week later after having by far the better chances against West Ham.
