Watford host West Ham at Vicarage Road in the Premier League on Saturday, Aug. 24. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Two winless teams meet when Watford welcome West Ham to Vicarage Road in the Premier League on Saturday. The Hornets have been beaten twice, conceding four goals and failing to find the net themselves, in the process.
Meanwhile, the Hammers salvaged some pride by earning a 1-1 draw away to Brighton last week. It was just a solitary point, but the performance was a far cry from the 5-0 home defeat to Manchester City that marked a dismal beginning to West Ham’s season.
The Hammers should be stronger after making several astute signings this summer. One of those is versatile attacking midfielder Pablo Fornals, who has talent but is so far struggling to adapt to the physical nature of England’s top flight.
Watford have plenty of talent in forward areas, particularly Spaniard Gerard Deulofeu. He’s yet to open his account but showed flashes of his pace, flair and vision during last week’s 1-0 defeat away to Everton.
As one of the late-morning kick-offs, this match will be available for live-streaming on NBC Sports Gold and other platforms.

The Hammers’ armoury could well be at full strength amid news injured trio Felipe Anderson, Sebastien Haller and Mark Noble are all available:
Anderson’s running power and skill on the ball were missed against the Seagulls. Meanwhile, Noble is technically sound and an inspirational leader from the heart of midfield.
Yet it’s Haller who may be the most important of all the potential returnees. Signed from Eintracht Frankfurt earlier this summer, he has the height and strength to play with his back to goal, hold the ball up and bring others into the play.
Even during the beatdown from City, Haller still managed to showcase some of the clever touches and knock-downs he can use to get Anderson and Fornals involved. This combination can spell bad news for a Watford defense baffled by pace and perceptive movement so far this season.
The Hornets’ would be wiser to rely on Deulofeu’s magic to make the difference. It means playing the converted winger as a striker.
Deulofeu played up top against the Toffees and looked more effective than he did on the flanks during the 3-0 home defeat to Brighton to start the season.
He may miss the support of Troy Deeney, after the target man was ruled out following knee surgery, per Sky Sports. Andre Gray or former Arsenal and Manchester United man Danny Welbeck are likely to come in for the skipper.
Nonetheless, the Hornets are sure to miss Deeney’s aggression and influence. It’s why all signs point to the full-strength Hammers taking three precious points on their travels.
