Early DraftKings MLB picks August 29: Clevinger tames Tigers

We have almost an even split for our DraftKings MLB tournaments tonight. There are four early games and six more in prime time. This will focus on the four games that make up the early DraftKings MLB tournament. Despite a smaller slate, there is still some good pitching out there.

Rain: Kansas City(slight)

Wind: 12 mph in from right in Detroit, 12 mph out to center in Kansas City, 15 mph out to left in Chicago

Hot/Humid: Kansas City(both), Houston(miserable)

The roof should be closed in Houston. The wind blowing out in Chicago with all of the right handed power in both of those lineups is honestly more intriguing than the humidity in KC.

I had no exposure to Thor, nor the Cubs that beat him senseless. Cole and Civale were as good or better than expected, but almost all of my offensive picks failed, so I came up empty.

These tips are based mostly on past performance. This is a nice tool for building a lineup, but should not be the only pieces of information you use. We have plenty of writers on here who give you relevant information no matter which site you play on, and we all attack the slate from different angles.
