FanSided previews the third All Elite Wrestling pay-per-view and makes some predictions on how the show will unfold.

Private Party vs. Angélico and Jack Evans

This was a last minute addition to the pre-show pitting two of AEW’s most athletic and high flying tag teams against each other, which should make for a fun match.

Both teams are still looking for their first win in AEW and this will for sure influence their tactics and motivations in this match.

Private Party will be coming in as the fan favorite but Angelico and Jack Evans have been fighting as underdogs for their whole careers so this will not be a new environment for them.

FanSided Prediction: Private Party

Casino Battle Royale

The confirmed women in this match are Allie, Yuka Sakazaki, Sadie Gibbs, “Big Swole” Aerial Monroe, Jazz, Teal Piper, Shazza McKenzie, Ivelisse, Britt Baker, Nyla Rose, Awesome Kong and Brandi Rhodes.

This match will have major implications on the future of the AEW women’s division as the winner of this battle royal will earn a spot in the inaugural AEW Women’s Title match on the premier episode of AEW on TNT.

Mainstays of the division such as Sakazaki, Rose, and Allie are heavy favorites going into this match as well as the first women signed to an AEW contract, Britt Baker. But a new face might emerge as the winner in an attempt to solidify their position in the company. Dark horses to watch in this contest would be Ivelisse and Sadie Gibbs.

This should be a wild match that should showcase the women’s division well.

FanSided Prediction: Britt Baker

Luchasaurus, Jungle Boy and Marko Stunt vs. SoCal Uncensored

The most solidified trio in AEW looks to defend their turf against a new stable of love-able misfits.

SCU are 1-2 as a unit in AEW and will be looking to even their record up with a win in this contest. This will only be their second match as a trio in AEW though but they have a long history of teaming together in ROH so they will be more familiar and at ease with each-other than their opponents.

Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy are no strangers to each other as they immediately latched onto each other when they debuted for AEW. The two have a great chemistry and a solid tag offense. Marko Stunt is the main variable in this contest as he has not teamed with Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy before. His offense should gel well with his new partners but the unfamiliarity should still worry some fans of the misfit trio.

FanSided Prediction: Luchasaurus, Jungle Boy, and Marko Stunt

Riho vs. Hikaru Shida

This dream match finally happening on American soil also has title implications.

Riho has become a staple in the AEW women’s division and has endeared herself to the fans in short order. With a record of 2-1, Riho will be looking to stake her claim to the AEW Women’s Championship by beating a highly-anticipated newcomer to the division.

Hikaru Shida is one of the women that AEW looks to be pushing very hard come October and this marquee match with Riho is another indicator that the company has big plans for her.

This match could easily steal the show as two of Japan’s best are set to clash in a high-stakes contest.

FanSided Prediction: Riho

Best Friends vs. The Dark Order

This match also has serious implications as the winners of this match will receive a first round bye in the upcoming tag title tournament.

These two teams also have some issues with each other as The Dark Order made their AEW debut by attacking The Best Friends back at Double or Nothing. The Dark Order are looking to inflict punishment on “fan favorite” teams because they feel like the fans moved on and forgot about them. Best Friends will be looking to come out strong and vicious to gain the upper hand on this dark team.

Expect this match to be pretty gritty and for it to be chock full of wild action.

FanSided Prediction: Best Friends

Darby Allin vs. Joey Janela vs. Jimmy Havoc

This match might just level the whole arena.

Three angry, winless wildcards put into a no disqualification match and only one can come out with a win? AEW might have just lit the fuse on what should be a very combustible situation.

All three men have history in hardcore style matches and dangerous stipulations so all three of them should be in their element and firing on all cylinders.

AEW seems to have the most faith in either Joey Janela or Darby Allin to be a future main-event star so fans can expect one of those two men to come away with the win here.

FanSided Prediction: Darby Allin

Lucha Brothers vs. The Young Bucks

The third match in the trilogy has raised the stakes in a very literal sense with the addition of the ladder match stipulation.

The Lucha Bros haven’t beaten The Young Bucks in AEW yet so they may be due for a win in the likely conclusion of the series.

But on the other hand it seems unlikely that AEW would have The Bucks coming into the tag tournament fresh off a huge loss.

The winners of this match are very hard to predict but the match should satisfy the fans either way with intense and high octane in-ring action.

FanSided Prediction: The Lucha Bros

PAC vs. Kenny Omega

This bout was a very last minute addition to the card that matches or even exceeds the marquee quality that was Kenny Omega vs Jon Moxley.

Omega has been training for Moxley so in storyline this change in his opponent should more than likely throw him off, but Omega is known for working on the fly.

PAC will be looking to make a huge statement with a win here as his adoration from the AEW fans took a hit when he was pulled from his match with Hangman Page at Double or Nothing earlier this year.

Many fans are looking towards this match as the likely highlight of the night.

FanSided Prediction: Kenny Omega

Cody vs. Shawn Spears

The most heated match on the card features two former tag partners clashing in what is sure to be a violent and possibly bloody affair.

Shawn Spears will be looking to cut corners and use his manager, Tully Blanchard, to blindside Cody.

Cody, and an unknown manager, will be looking to gain some revenge for the chair shot Spears delivered at Fyter Fest.

What this match will lack in over the top maneuvers it will make up for in violent visuals and nasty, bloody action.

FanSided Prediction: Shawn Spears

Adam Page vs. Chris Jericho

The inaugural match for the AEW Heavyweight Championship is set to be a clash of two distinct eras.

“Hangman” Adam Page will be looking to prove he belongs in the main event scene and can hang with a prolific talent like Chris Jericho.

Jericho has been trying every tactic to get into Hangman’s head and will likely be set to pull out his old villainous tactics in an attempt to secure the victory.

This match could definitely steal the show as both men will be firing on all cylinders.

FanSided Prediction: Chris Jericho
