31. . Wide Receiver. Alabama. Jerry Jeudy. 7. player

The New York Giants head into the 2019 NFL season without Odell Beckham Jr., as he was traded to the Cleveland Browns this offseason. Without Beckham, Sterling Shepard will be thrust into the WR1 role this season, as Eli Manning looks to defy Father Time and get this Giants football franchise back on top in the NFC East.

All of the talk this summer has circled around Manning’s backup, Daniel Jones, who the team selected with the No. 6 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. With their first round pick next April, they should look into bringing in a quality wide receiver, and Alabama’s Jerry Jeudy is the best of the bunch when it comes to this draft class.

Shepard is a solid wideout, but Jeudy is the kind of guy you could write into the top of the Giants depth chart for years to come. Jones has looked solid this summer and should be ready to take over for Eli next season, so it would make sense that the team would go out and get him an elite draft weapon in 2020.

Cornerback. Florida. C.J. Henderson. 8. player. 30.

The New York Jets went out and upgraded their roster at a number of different positions this offseason, bringing in big name guys like linebacker C.J. Mosley, and running back Le’Veon Bell. With quarterback Sam Darnold entering his second season under center, there is reason for optimism with this team, though they will have to prove it on the field.

During the 2019 NFL Draft, the Jets brought in Alabama defensive tackle Quinnen Williams with the No. 3 overall pick, and he should prove to be a solid addition in the middle of their defense. While there have been upgrades up front, and at linebacker, there is still a major deficiency on this roster at cornerback.

Sure, the Jets went out and spent a ton of money on Trumaine Johnson last offseason, but he did not really live up to the price tag in year one in New York. With their first round pick in 2020, the Jets should bring in the best cornerback in this draft class, and C.J. Henderson is a guy who could come right in and start for this team from Day 1.
